I found Easy House Buyers almost by chance.  I was looking for a company that buys houses and found them on my second try. Since they were located just down the street, I sent an e-mail message.  To my surprise, I got a call from Scot about 15 minutes later and he said he wanted to stop by my house and talk.  He arrived about a half hour later and I told him what I wanted regarding my house.  He said he thought he could do that and called again about an hour later and confirmed.  He was again at my house shortly after and we signed papers.  I was very impressed with Scot who displayed genuine friendliness and knowledge.  I had the feeling that he would make our deal work no matter what – and that proved to be true.  There’s not much more a company could do for a seller than what Easy House Buyers already does.  They really take care of their customers.  I still communicate with Scot once in a while and think he is wonderful to do business with and also a nice person.  One thing I said to Scot the first day we met was that people need to know that Easy House Buyers is there!  I would unhesitatingly recommend Easy House Buyers to anyone interested.

I saw a  sign “We buy your house” while I was driving home from my parents house in Arlington, VA.  My siblings and me had just had a difficult conversation regarding moving my father to extended care facility and selling the house we grew up in.  To complicate the situation my father had depleted all of his savings on 24 X 7 in house care and needed the money from the sale of the house to pay for the extended care facility.

I reached out to Norther Virginia Investments and received a return call in a matter of hours.  I worked with a gentleman named Scot who made the whole experience as painless as possible.  We met at my father’s house where Scot did an inspection, and within a couple of days, presented us with an offer to by the house, which was a very generous and fair offer.  Scot worked with us to schedule a quick sale of the house, due to our needs to secure the funds as soon as possible.

As fate would have it, my father passed away the day before the scheduled close date which meant our standard power of attorney agreement was no longer valid.  We were now dealing with securing an executor of will and the sale of the house became complicated, as we had to work through tax implications.  Rather than walk away from the agreement, which NVI were well within their rights to do, they worked with us and the house closed some time in late August early September.  In addition to their flexibility with the sale, they had a no rush policy regarding our monumental task of clearing a house of 50 years worth of accumulated “memories.”
